Location Data: We collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device. For drivers, this is collected in the background to enable ride requests and track active journeys. For users, location is collected to facilitate pickups and safety tracking.
Device Information: IP address, operating system, app version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Driver specifics: Driving license details, vehicle registration details, and background verification documents.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

To facilitate rides, calculate prices, and process payments securely.
To provide customer support and improve our application and services.
Safety & Security: To verify driver identities, monitor ride safety, and prevent fraudulent activities.
To send necessary communications such as ride updates, OTPs, receipts, and policy changes.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your profile and transactional data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and comply with legal obligations.

Account Deletion RequestYou have the right to request the deletion of your account and data at any time. You can delete your account directly through the ChaloJi mobile app settings, or by contacting our support team at support@chaloji.in. Upon deletion, your profile details will be removed within 30 days, except for data required for legal and tax compliance.

We implement robust physical, administrative, and technical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. All sensitive communications, such as payment details and location tracking, are encrypted in transit. However, no digital platform can guarantee 100% absolute security.
